Kellaway Guitars: Modern Lattice
The Modern Lattice is constructed using designs evolved over decades to produce sweet clear and loud instruments for the player.
There are many variations of timbers available but soundboards are made from Spruce or Cedar.
Backs and sides are made from a variety of timbers. Backs are pressed into a mold and sides are laminated into a mold.
Kellaway lattices are made in my own particular style. I usually use offcuts of timber from the same soundboard for my lattices. There is no balsa or carbon fibre. This is part of the secret of my sweet sound.
